Godir: I will work for the capital’s development – An Exclusive Interview




















Garowe-(Puntland Mirror), Garowe’s mayor, Hassan Mohamed Isse (Godir) who gave an ephemeral interview to Puntland Mirror website’s correspondent, Abshir Abdi Yusuf asked on the work he did during his presence in the district’s administration that counts of four months and the plans ahead. Thereafter, the mayor discussed them accordingly.




‘The Economic Infrastructure’

During his presence in the office, Hassan Mohamed Isse told he made a tremendous achievement on the economic infrastructure, the solar lights being installed on the main roads, like the presidential road, the late Isalan Mohamed road, the Sheikh Abdulakdir raod, the Prof. Jam’ale road in the city.
Similarly, the mayor suggested that new paving roads are under construction, such as the one of Sultan Said Mohamed, the second line’s construction of road 30th and the plan is there for the rehabilitation of the city’s main road.
Now, ‘a master plan’ aimed at ensuring of today and tomorrow for this city’s beauty is there with help of the Holland government, meantime Mr. Godir underlined that he will construct a bridge between the small stream and the general hospital, that will connect the general hospital to city, Insha’Allah.

‘Visits to the Small villages under Garowe’

Hassan Mohamed Isse, Garowe’s Mayor talked about his visits that paid to small villages under his administration in recent dates. “I went to all of them, in order to notify their needs. I formed self-governing administrations that are mandated to be part the ongoing developmental activities in those areas that I visited’’. He said

Meanwhile, the Garowe’s mayor called upon to puntlanders to take part in developing Garowe, the Puntland’s capital city. He stressed “ I appeal to the community who live in the capital which the mirror among the other cities in this region to stand for its betterment.

We all work for its security and development at all levels’’. Yes, it is a capital for all, not just for the few and doesn’t belong for particular group, or individual. We told before, this city conveys for all, if someone considers as his, he/she will not take praise out of that. Garowe, it’s the capital city of Puntland, we are ready to welcome for all investors who are willing to put their money on this it; we are committed to sustain its security and peace’’. He added.
